Acceptable Use Policy

Customers of DNSFilter, Inc. (“DNSFilter”) are expected to comply with the terms and conditions of this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) when utilizing DNSFilter products.

The average monthly traffic per subscribed seat (user or device) is expected to be less than 2X the average across the entire DNSFilter customer base per 30 day period. Queries in excess of this threshold require additional licensing (user or device).

DNSFilter normalizes per license (user or device) maximum as the average of daily queries, excluding the top and bottom 2.5% and setting a stable minimum of 5,000 queries per user per day. Therefore, the acceptable use threshold will be a minimum of 10,000 queries per user per day.

Access point licenses account for the traffic of 5 users. Each access point has an acceptable use threshold minimum of 50,000 queries per user per day.

DNSFilter may amend this AUP from time to time and any such amendment will be posted at the associated URL, or alternate URLs as may be provided by DNSFilter.  In the event of any conflict between this AUP and any order form executed between a customer and DNSFilter, the terms of this AUP will control unless the order form expressly states otherwise.  Customer acknowledges and agrees that its use of DNSFilter products after the posting of any such amendment shall constitute customer’s consent to such amendment and agreement to be bound by the same.
