In August, DNSFilter raised $15 million as part of a Series A extension from investor Insight Partners to continue its mission of making the internet safer and workplaces more secure.
“I’m so proud and happy to work with everybody here and I enjoy every single day at DNSFilter. I can’t believe how far we’ve come,” said CEO Ken Carnesi in a statement to the company this week. “It’s a testament to how many smart people and driven people we have working here.”
In October, DNSFilter as an organization will turn eight years old. In these eight years, DNSFilter has grown to over 150 employees world-wide and protects over 27 million end users every month across nearly 30,000 organizations.
These funds will be used to drive expansion efforts, boost research and development initiatives around its protective DNS and web filtering solutions, support its global customer success team, and strengthen the company’s leadership bench. Their goal is to provide more advanced and innovative security to current and future customers, blocking threats before they infiltrate the network.
