FOKUS MSP JOINS DNSFILTER GLOBAL PARTNER PROGRAM

Fokus MSP today announced it is partnering with DNSFilter to offer DNS-layer threat protection solutions to managed service providers (MSPs) in the DACH region. DNSFilter provides Domain Name System (DNS) security powered by machine learning that uniquely identifies 61% more threats than competitors an average of seven days earlier, including zero-day attacks. Together, Fokus MSP and DNSFilter will provide MSPs in the DACH region with best-in-class technology, training, and support to secure customers against DNS and web-based threats.

Founded in 2015, DNSFilter’s solutions are top-rated amongst 2,000 MSP organizations. DNSFilter’s powerful reporting and management capabilities were built for MSPs, and deployment can be performed on individual devices through roaming clients, or on the network itself, giving service providers the flexibility they need across clients.

Stefan Steuer, CEO Fokus MSP GmbH: "The partnership between DNSFilter and Fokus MSP brings remarkable advantages for IT service providers and Managed Services Providers. By utilizing DNSFilter, our partners can benefit from enhanced threat detection powered by machine learning, ensuring proactive protection against malware, phishing, and other cyber threats. In addition, the user-friendly management interface allows for easy integration into existing systems and provides detailed insights into network traffic. This results in optimized workflows, increased efficiency, and ultimately, heightened customer satisfaction. Overall, this collaboration will contribute to IT service providers and Managed Services Providers being able to offer their clients top-notch security solutions and comprehensive protection."

“Since DNSFilter’s inception, we have been acutely focused on better serving the MSP community. Our Global Partner Program provides unparalleled ease of deployment for MSPs. In less than five minutes, MSPs can have entire customer networks and all activity visible for improved threat monitoring and blocking,” said Ken Carnesi, CEO and founder of DNSFilter. “Fokus MSP is one of the few MSP distributors solely focused on supporting MSPs in the DACH region. We’re thrilled to partner with a company that shares our deep commitment to the MSP community.”

Highlights of the DNSFilter offerings include:

  • Powerful threat detection: DNSFilter catches threats seven days before competitors that use legacy categorization techniques, and DNSFilter has an industry-leading false positive rate of under 1% for deceptive domain classification.
  • Integration: DNSFilter’s Data Export feature allows users to export query log data to be utilized by a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) or other tools of their choice. Exporting DNSFilter data allows an organization to aggregate relevant data from multiple sources and then take action. Data Export supports Amazon S3 buckets and Splunk. Many SIEMs are able to pull data from an S3 bucket enabling many tools to access the exported data from DNSFilter.
  • Visibility: DNSFilter built reporting and multi-tenancy features with MSPs in mind to simplify management across clients in one easy-to-use dashboard.

Over 15,000 organizations trust DNSFilter to protect millions of end users from phishing, malware, and advanced cyber threats. To learn more about DNSFilter, please visit: https://www.dnsfilter.com/
